The Brief
The objective of this project was to design an editorial magazine for the Publication Design subject with a strong focus on print hierarchy, layout systems, and visual storytelling.
Inspired by manga and anime culture, the challenge was to create a publication that felt visually engaging while maintaining readability and strong editorial structure.
The Design
The design was built around bold typography, dynamic layouts, and an orange-black visual palette inspired by manga aesthetics.
Using editorial grid systems, the magazine balanced expressive visuals with clean structure, creating impactful covers and readable inner spreads with strong visual identity.

the takeaway
The final outcome included the magazine cover, editorial spreads, and print mockups.
This project strengthened my understanding of publication design, typography, and how layout can shape the reader’s experience through strong visual storytelling.
