The Brief
The objective of this project was to learn the fundamentals of 3D design and animation using Blender through the iconic Blender Guru donut tutorial.
As a beginner project, the goal was to understand the complete workflow of creating a 3D object—from modeling and texturing to lighting, rendering, and simple animation.
The Design
The project involved building a stylized donut scene with icing, sprinkles, and soft studio lighting, along with camera composition and animation for a polished final render.
The focus was on understanding Blender’s core tools including modeling, material creation, shading, lighting setup, and motion. The animation added depth to the final output and helped translate a static object into a more engaging visual piece.

the takeaway
The final outcome was a fully rendered donut scene with animation, serving as my foundation in 3D visualization and Blender workflow.
This project helped me build confidence in 3D software, understand rendering pipelines, and develop the technical base that later supported more advanced conceptual 3D and visual merchandising projects.
