Conceptual Fashion Styling Project

The Brief
The objective was to create a strong conceptual fashion styling project based on zeitgeist research, styling development, and editorial photography.
The theme explored was The Garden of Mutated Flowers—a fictional botanical world where flowers evolve into bold, distorted, and powerful forms beyond conventional beauty.
The Design
The project involved concept building through moodboards, Met Gala references, silhouette exploration, styling direction, makeup, set design, and final editorial photography.
Each look represented a different mutation—such as fungal invasion, petal drift, chlorophyll surge, and plaid parasite—using dramatic silhouettes, textured garments, floral elements, and conceptual poses to create a surreal visual narrative.

the takeaway
The final outcome was a complete fashion editorial series with styled looks, photography, retouching, and concept presentation.
This project strengthened my understanding of fashion storytelling, visual styling, conceptual shoots, and how styling can transform abstract ideas into strong visual narratives.
